#2 Carriage Doors (CTL05) with fixed side panels on home gym in Potomac, Maryland (MD)
These doors allow me to open up a nine foot section of the room so that I have more of an outdoor feel while exercising. The doors look and work great! My builder, Zink Construction, had no problems with the doors whatsoever; and the architect, Jim Rill of Rill & Decker, was very happy with the finished product. The doors open onto a flagstone courtyard that was designed to compliment the open feeling of the exercise room.

they set this garage far apart from the others.

#5 Elliptical Arched Outswing Carriage Doors (CTL01-E) in San Jose, California (CA)
We absolutely adore our garage doors. We get so many compliments and I have given out your contact information to about 6 people. The doors really make our house stand out. Working with your company was a pleasure, and we hope that we will have other houses in the future that will need special doors. The craftsmanship is phenomenal, I really can't rave any more (well, I guess I could, but...). Let's just say we are more than happy customers.

Since the garage is such visible element, it’s important to us that it looks like it belongs there and is in keeping with the period of the house. Putting an overhead door (developed much later) on the garage would have been a terrible compromise and suspended metal door tracks would have really detracted from the look we wanted. It was an easy decision to go with Real Carriage Doors.

My new doors tie the entire house together, and really complete my remodeling project. I couldn't have chosen a better option. I've had strangers come raving about the doors and asking me where I got them!

We finally finished the door and it came out great. Your [bifolding] doors are obviously a well engineered system; all of the hardware and accessory items made it really work well. Thanks for your help.

#20 Artist studio doors (Studio Rockwell, SL05) in Woodacre, California (CA)
The visual gift to the neighborhood was the installation of doors from the Real Carriage Door Company. People walking by stop to admire the doors—I have had oodles of compliments. Each time I approach my studio—just looking at the doors puts me in a creative, noncompromising state of mind. Living with the doors from the inside is like living with handcrafted furniture.
