Cane Bolts
As part of a complete locking system, a pair of cane bolts add functionality and style to your authentic carriage doors. To secure a door, you need two cane bolts: one down low, which slides into the floor, and one up high, which slides into the header. Cane and surface bolts for doors are often used with an entry set on the active door. Alternatively, for the simplest setup, they can be used on both doors to fully secure your set of carriage doors. See our page on custom door anatomy for a helpful diagram of the types of cane, sliding, and surface bolts we offer for wood doors.
